A University of Northerly Carolina is the federation of 100% xvi public universities in North Carolina. Its flagship school is the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
History
A body was established within 1932 as the Consolidated University of N Carolina by using trio campuses; threesome thomas more were added in the Sixties. It assumed its present title July 1, 1972, with a incorporation of the left 10 state-supported little joe-month institutions.
